14 Months Old!

My lil lady you are 14 months old now!!! I can't believe another month has passed on by,  but it sure was a great one!!! We've been super busy so far this summer, but you don't seem to mind one bit...you like to go go go! You are so easy going and love to be around people, you make it very easy for us to bring you anywhere and we never leave a place without someone telling us what a fun, happy go lucky baby you are:)

You have turned into quite the lil fish, you are loving swim lesson and we've spent countless days in Gg's and grandpa's pool. We've been to lots of baby showers, birthday parties, had lots of play dates, you had your second sleep over without dad and I, we celebrated your second 4th of July, went to a cabin and stayed the night, you had your first boat ride, you met your new baby cousin Gabriel, and wore your first pair of piggies:)

Loves~

• Being OUTSIDE
• Swimming
• Swinging
• Splashing water
• Going for walks
• Play dates, you love hanging with other kiddies
• Playing in the water table
• Touching/smelling the flowers on the deck
• Dancing or clapping to music
• Climbing up in your anywhere chair and looking out the front window
• Playing/poking/climbing/pulling/feeding your fur sister Chloe
• Pushing your baby dolls in a stroller
• Giving big open mouth kisses:) 

Eating~ Still 1-2 bottles a day, but They will be gone at the end of this month...hopefully! You've turned into a very picky eater but I can always count on you to eat all your  fruit and cheese! Other things you like are eggs, turkey dogs, baby cucumbers, Mac and cheese and any kind of pasta! Your favorite snacks are baby goldfish, cheddar bunnies, booty popcorn, veggie straws, berry kix, cheerios and graham crackers! Your starting to want to eat with a fork but haven't completely mastered it yet and you love to throw all your food on the ground... this makes Meal time not so fun!

Sleeping~ You now take one nap a day anywhere from 1 1/2- 3 hrs sometimes you will take a cat nap in your car seat too, night still 7-8pm to 7-7:30am

Sizes~ Clothes mostly 12-18mon, shoes still a 3 and we have so many cute ones for fall that I hope your feet start growing so you can wear them (they are all 4s.) diapers size 4

Fun Facts~ You are so close to walking you can take 2-3 steps but your so speedy at crawling you would rather get there faster (Your poor knees are always so red)!  Whenever you eat something you really like you always go num num num with a huge smile. You have your 6 teeth, 4 big ones you can totally see and 2 that are still growing


Firsts~ You wore your first piggies, you had your first stay over night at a cabin, first boat ride and First time going to the family fun fest in town

Bffs...  just keeping an eye out for the neighborhood;)

Babycakes you are so dang fun, you keep daddy and I laughing all the time and I know it's only going to continue as your crazy, spunky, funny, sassy lil BIG Personality grows:)  We love you to the moon and back!!!!

I'm obsessed with these Minnetonka Moccasins my Mom picked up for Stell...are they not the cutest things ever???

The hubby and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary on the 12th and he surprised me with a trip to Napa in September, wine country here we come:)

Three 

I can't get over how big my lil miss is getting, she doesn't look like a baby anymore

Bry just started selling this wine, it' s so cool!  Its individually stacked glasses. Pop one off,  remove seal and start drinking!!! What a genius idea and it would make such a cute gift:)

 

Five

So excited for tomorrow night, we have a wedding with college friends! Can't wait to whoop it up like old times, ok maybe not quite like old time or I might die, but none the less I know we're going to have a fantastic time!!!

1st Birthday Extravaganza!

I know this is long over due, like 2 months but who's counting! So here it goes.....
I wanted something fun and colorful for Estella's 1st birthday bash and I really wanted her to wear a top hat...so Circus themed it was! I think Estella loved everything about her party and especially Loved being the center of attention! She was such a trooper, she took both her naps that day so she was able to have FUN all day long!

I started planning and preparing for the Big First Birthday Extravaganza what felt like forever ago, anything I could of prepared ahead of time I tried to, but still the day of we were running around with our heads cut off! I think it had a lot to do with the fact we were doing a small kitchen reno and anything that could go wrong with the back splash did!! We may have been up way to late the night before trying to finish it!!! Huge thanks to my mom, I couldn't have done the party without all her hard work and also my sister, dad and brys help setting up the day of....love them!!!

We had two separate parties the first one started at 1:00 that was for family and the friends party was at 5:00. Bry said the second party was also to celebrate making it the first year of parenthood, because we like to think we rocked the first year;) After the kiddies went home and Stell Bell went to sleep, we stayed up drinking with friends and had our first bonfire of the season! Perfect end to a great day!!!

Favorite part of the party!!!

People started coming right as we were finishing putting everything out so I ran out of time to take pictures of everything. I was bummed I didn't get any pictures of our drink station, food table (for the food we did walking tacos and they were a hit..super easy and not a lot of clean up), party favors,  circus play tent, giant #1 balloon in our front yard and hardly anything with the kids! Maybe next year I will have my shit together...

Dessert table and candy bar, we had cotton candy, candy dots, laffy taffy, frosted animal crackers,  circus peanuts, cake pops and cup cakes

Smash cake gg made, tables that were set up in the garage had a 1st b-day pic, center piece was popcorn vase with baby's breath and peanuts for every table, popcorn station also in the garage (not the cutest background) and giant letter E for the front door 

Girlfriend was so not into the cupcake, she gaged on the frosting ( so not like her mama) We were saving the smash cake for her second party but never ended up using it

Once she saw the choo choo it was game over for opening the rest of the presents

Yes I know HUGE mommy fail!!! This only goes through the birth of Stella and I wanted her whole 1st year done but maybe by her second birthday!!!

Even though some things didn't turn out exactly how I planned, We still had an ABSOLUTE Blast! It was so fun to be with all the people we love, it definitely made for A Very Special 1st Birthday!!!

Red, white & blue!

Good food, cold drinks, fireworks, sparklers, beautiful weather, boat rides, and bonfires pretty much sums up our way of celebrating the the 4th:) We started out the celebration on the 3rd going to BBQ with may parents friends and all the grand kids. It's always a good time, Stella loves to watch all the older kids run around like crazy!

To get ready for the party Stella went all out and wore piggies for the first time...they were so freaking adorable!!!

 Piggies are just the cutest thing EVER!!!

Fourth of July morning at 4:00 am we got an exciting phone call that our first nephew was born, what a cool birthday to have! Before heading up north we made our way to the hospital to meet Gabriel John. He is just the sweetest, most handsome lil guy:)

Afterwards we headed up north to our friends cabin! We had so much fun, it was so nice to get away for two days! There was even a friend for Stella, Kinsley is 6 mon to the day older then stell. It was so fun to watch them steal, I mean play w/ each others toys;)  We took lots of boat rides, floated in the lake, played yard games, had a bonfire, and watched fireworks! It was the prefect way to spend the 4th:)

Cuddle time, someone got super relaxed on the boat, even took a nap on one of the many rides 

 Have to have everything be festive for the day right..even sippy cups! Gg got one for stella in her 4th "goody" bag so we had to get a matching one for Kins:)
Only thing Stell didn't care for was the life jacket and who would blame her! Poor thing was way to small for it!

Horrible pic of the both of us but I had to show my husband wearing his zubaz! They only come out on special occasions  ( Like the last time they made an appearance was a white trash themed party two years ago ha!)

The rest of the weekend was low key. Poor Bry had a tasting so he had to work Saturday but other then that we just relaxed and rented a movie called side effect. It had awesome reviews and a good cast, but it was super weird and I'm not sure I liked it! Anyone else seen it? We need some suggestions for good movies to watch, nothings been good lately that we've got!

 And let's not forget what Lil Miss Stelly looked like last year on the 4th... I guess my lil firecracker's not so lil anymore!!!!!
