Must Haves/favorites for Estella

 Our must have/favorites items from last month and now 

1.) Sassy strawberry teether~ Stella would chew/suck on this all day if I let her. I just fill it with ice and she goes crazy. Only con her hands get so cold but she doesn't even care. Next I need to get out the mesh ones and put fruit in them.

2.) Boon Frog pod-~It's cute and works great to keep toys and baby wash in 

3.) Dr. Bronner's coconut oil~ Great natural healer. Stell was starting to get cradle cap nothing was working till I tried this and it was gone the next day 

4.) Taggies mirror~ love for tummy time...my girl loves to stare at herself and who would blame her:) 

5.) Koala Baby EZ-wipe Bib~ Awesome bib for when she started eating solids, wipes up easy and washes up better then others I've tried

6.)Bright Starts snuggle & teether elephant~ Best lil toy to bring with everywhere it takes up no room and when were on the go she cuddle it, crinkle it and chew on it...she loves the thing

7.) Gerber nuk spoons~ I've tried a few different types of spoons and she seems to like theses best. They have a square tip and more food seems to stay in when we use them... big plus to me 

8.) Book Barnyard dance by Sandra Boynton~ This is one of my favorite books to read to stell, I really love any of her books.  

9.) Mini star shoes~ Wearing shoes is a must this time of year. They stay on good, no more socks falling off, they go with most of her outfits and I love anything that has a bow on them:)

10.) Munchkin disposable changing pads and arm & hammer diaper bags~ Both of these items are always in my diaper bag!!! With me being a germ freak there is no way I'm putting my baby on a public changing station. Using the disposable pads is the only way I can use one and if at all possible we don't even go there haha!!! And for any of those stinky diapers you just throw them in the arm&hammer bags and there is no smell 

11.)Bright starts entertain & grow saucer~ She's loving this more and more everyday, especially because she can reach all of the toys now! 

Lil pumpkin!

To get Stella in the spirit for her first Halloween.... We've been having lil miss rock her festive Halloween outfits (she may have one for everyday of the week;), we've been reading Biscuit's pet & play Halloween and Happy Sparkling Halloween both very cute books and we brought her to her first pumpkin patch:) Having a lil one makes holidays so much more FUN!

 I'm looking forward to this weekend already, but I'm going to be one busy bee this week trying to get ready for our Halloween party!!!

5 months old!

5 MONTHS OLD, I can not believe it! I didn't think time could go by any faster then it has, but each month proves me wrong and it's over before I know it. This last month has been my favorite! Girlfriend you are one adorable, happy, smiley, fun, silly lil girl and we just can't get enough of you! We have had so much fun this month, lets see what you've been up too!

You smile like crazy and the second I pull out the camera there gone,

Weight/Length~  We haven't been to the Dr. since your 4 month check up, but doing it at home your around 16lbs and 24in

Loves~ You have so many... baths and you love to splash now, walks, playing with your toys (Sophie, rattles, oball, taggies blanket), mommy reading to you, grabbing your toes, pulling off and trying to eat your socks, being out and about, shopping with gg. You love grabbing on to anything you can and putting everything in your mouth! Mommy and daddy's favorite thing to do is dance and sing with you and you LOVE love it! Your lil legs and arms have never stopped moving since the day you were born, I think you were born to dance. You jump like crazy and slap your arms all around when you hear music. Daddy's also trying to teach you how to drum young and you think it's so funny when he takes your arms and drums to the beat.

you either want to grab you toes, suck your fingers or eat your sticker :)

Eating~ Still 4-5oz of soy formula and you get rice cereal w/ bananas after your morning bottle. Your still spitting up after every bottle, we can't wait for you to out grow it

Sleeping~ Most nights you go to bed between 7:30-8:30 and sleep till 5-5:45 take a bottle and go back down for an hour or two but the last few nights you've been sleeping straight to 7-7:30! You've been trying to roll over in your sleep but get stuck on your side with your face smashed into the mattress and it makes mommy nervous so every night like clock work I wake up at 2:30 and put you back on your back. You have good days and bad days with your naps still, but I'm OK with that I would rather have you sleep at night

Fun Facts~ You got baptized this month:) You like to talk up a storm just like your mommy. You make funny facial expressions when you talk like you surprise yourself every time you get something to come out. You've started to gasp and you laugh every time you do it and you just started doing the motor boat with your mouth, so drool goes everywhere, you silly girl. You hardly cry anymore but if you do it seems you get so worked up it's hard to get you to settle down, usually lots of cuddles while dancing to loud music works wonders:)

Clothes~ 3-6 , mostly 6 months. I've put you in a few 6-12 because I bought all your Halloween outfits last year and got them on the bigger side. They are pretty big but you still look cute as ever. Mommy and gg are having way to much fun dressing you for Halloween and gg's been busy making you lots of darling things and super cute hats to match! You are also still wearing 2 diapers

Firsts~ You've had so many this month....First trip to Florida, First airplane ride, putting your toes in the ocean & sand, having your toes painted, eating rice cereal and bananas, sitting in your highchair, rolling from back to tummy. First time to the apple orchard and pumpkin patch.  We also just tried your johnny jump up yesterday for the first time. You weren't quite sure what to do, but I know eventually you will love it because you would jump all day on my lap of I let you!

What a great month we had baby girl, you are just the best lil thing ever! We are truly blessed and so lucky to have you! Estella we love you so very very much and we're looking forward to all the fun things we have coming up:)

Halloween

Halloween... it's our favorite holiday and we love to go all out every year! It only seems fitting since we're from the Halloween Capital Of The World! Every year we go to the big parade, Bry runs the 5k and I watch. We stop at the bar have a drink and lunch then off to our house to get ready for our pre party. The last four years we have everyone over to get ready and pre game before we head back downtown for the big tent party. They close down the street, put up a huge tent, have a band, costume contest and lots of beer! It's always a blast, we drink too much, dance/sing like crazy, and have awesome costumes. Three years ago the boys were the band KISS and the girls were the groupies (best homemade costumes ever!) They won the costume contest, it was a trip to Vegas! 

Last year was quite different since I was 12weeks pregnant but thankfully I had a few other prego friends there. This year will also be very different but a good different! A lot of our friends had babies in the past year so we decided to make our party family friendly and not go to the tent party. I love throwing a great party so I've been busy planning away! I want to do a photo booth area for when you first get there, fun decor, lots of finger foods, treats/cake pops and I'm trying to come up with a few game ideas for the older kids!!!

Baptism 9~29~12

September 29th was Estella's baptism and what a special day it was! It sure meant a lot to us to have her baptized at the same church my parents were married, where my siblings and I were baptized and where her daddy and I got married! She's one lucky lil lady to have so many friends and family that love her and were there to help us celebrate her big day! We chose the Saturday night service at our church because it's less crowded, more casual and she was the only one being baptized that day... so she got lots of special attention:).  Afterwards we headed to my parents for  food, drinks, & deserts! What a great day we had....God Bless our Lil Estella Marie!!!

Lil miss lately!

These past two weeks have been big weeks for lil miss! We have had lots of firsts on our hands lately. First time to Florida, flying, seeing the ocean, got her toes painted(cutest thing ever), and she rolled over from her back to belly Monday Sept.17th!!!

Another big first we had on Sunday Sept.23 was feeding Estella rice cereal. Boy was this a mess and I'm not sure missy liked it, but we sure had fun trying:)
