37 Weeks!

How Far along? 37 weeks...Oh my!!!

Maternity clothes? Yep, mostly maternity still a few items I can rock that are not maternity like this dress<-

Stretch marks? None I can see, hopefully I can hold out just a few more weeks

Sleep? Some nights ok, others not so much...I'm just trying to get comfy with all my pillows

Best moment last week? Seeing our baby girl knowing everything is A OK, finding out I'm dilated to a 1 and 60% effaced (my Dr. said he thinks even if I make it to 40 weeks she will only be around 7 1/2 pounds), Having my last baby shower with my work girls, Bry and I going on a mini shopping spree at Target for what was left on the registry that we couldn't live without, getting another massage ( if you are preggo you should defiantly treat yourself to one...it's heaven:) and finding a cute robe and slippers for the hospital I still wanna look cute right?

Movement? Yep, most days still a lot! I'm going to miss this part when she's here

Food cravings? Strawberry banana smoothies

Gender? Baby GIRL, Estella Marie!!!

Labor signs? A lot of braxton hicks, still seems likes she's dropping even more... not sure where else she can go now but out haha! Also like I mention before starting to dilated and thin out

Belly button in/out? Still in! Kinda flat but don't think it's going to pop out ever

What I miss:   Just being comfortable but it's soooooo worth it

What I am looking forward to: Jury duty to be over, so far so good. I haven't had to go in and I only have 2 days left! Getting the house deep cleaned and checking stuff off our to do list!!! And MOST of all meeting lil miss Estella!!! It really could be anytime now, that just seems so crazy to me! I can not wait to snuggle my baby girl:)

 Milestones:
Your baby's the size of a watermelon!

Yay! Baby has reached full term. She likely measures around 18.9 to 20.9 inches and weighs about 6.2 to 9.2 pounds. She's gaining about 1/2 ounce each day.

  • She's practicing some skills: inhaling, exhaling, sucking, gripping and blinking.
  • She's getting his first sticky poop (called meconium) ready for his first diaper.

Random Wednesday post!

I have a few fun necessities  I mean accessories I thought I would share! Monday I made baby girl a few more headbands. I don't think we can ever have enough and I think they turned out pretty cute! Yesterday I scored an awesome deal at Pottery Bran kids. I love holidays so with each passing one I've been stocking up on stuff for Estella when it goes on clearance!  I knew I wanted to get her a PB Easter Basket so I went online the day after Easter. I found the one I wanted and had it in the check out, but I thought maybe I should give our local PB a call to see if they had any left and they sure did! I got the Liner for 4.99 was 14.99 and the Basket for 8.99 it was 24.99 ( now we just need Gg to personalize it with her name and we're all set for next year)!!! I also got her a cute my first Easter outfit, I love anything with a ruffle on the butt:)   Last I want to start packing my Hospital bag this weekend, for all you mommas is there anything you thought was super helpful to have or just made you feel more comfortable at the hospital???  I am open for all tips and suggestions!!!

I think I need to start making some more headbands in another color other then PINK ha!

I can't wait to play Easter bunny next year and fill this with all kinds of fun goodies;)

Vera Bradley diaper and hospital bags,  I  have the wallet too since I'm sure I won't be carrying a purse for awhile! I think these will work great because I can throw them in the wash if when they get dirty and they are so light weight! I also got the Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy backpack diaper bag in black and white so I can switch them up and not get sick of using the same one everyday!
Please leave me a comment if you have any tips on what to pack!

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!

How Far along? 35 weeks

Maternity clothes? Yep, some of both but mostly maternity now. I'm getting pretty sick of them and I can not wait to go shopping for new summer clothes

Stretch marks? Not that I can see,  using lots of palmers lotion and oil so I'm hoping it stays that way!

Sleep? Not horrible could be better could be worse

Best moment last week? My 34 week Dr. appointment! I'm measuring right on track, she's still head down, her heart sounds perfect and I was surprised to find out we get to have one more ultra sound next week. Easter was great too, I started off the day with a brunch at my cousins house while Bry went golfing and later we went out to dinner with his family. This is the first year we have not been in Florida for Easter with my family so I'm looking forward to going next year with Estella! I can not wait to celebrate all of her first holidays it's going to make them all extra special!

Movement? Yep, I love feeling and seeing it! She's even been having the hiccups a lot lately kinda fun to feel!

Food cravings? Not a lot this week but it was nice to be able to indulge in all the Easter food, candy and desserts!

Gender? Baby GIRL, Estella Marie

Labor signs? A few Braxton hicks and one night I woke up feeling like I was having contractions like nothing I've felt before kinda scary but they stopped after awhile and it hasn't happened again

Belly button in/out? Still hanging in, not sure if it will ever pop out

What I miss:   Just being able to bend over comfortably, and shaving my legs quickly it's getting pretty tricky to do

What I am looking forward to: My ultra sound next week, I'm beyond excited to see our sweet growing girl one more time before she's here! Also having the weekend of to work on a few things I want to get organized and start to pack my hospital bag

Milestones: Your baby's the size of a butternut squash!

She's about 17.2 to 18.7 inches. From here on out, she won't get much longer, but he's plumping up. She's now about 4.2 to 5.8 pounds, and she'll put on a pound or more of baby fat before birth.

  • Now, her hearing is fully developed, and she responds best to high-pitched noises.

34 Weeks!

How Far along? 34 weeks

Maternity clothes? Yep, still a little of both! I'm finding it harder to pick out what to wear though & I hate repeating outfits often, but with the weather being so nice I don't have very many warm weather maternity clothes!

Stretch marks? Not that I can see, I sure hope it stays this way

Sleep? Getting less and less each week but nothing I didn't expect! Poor Bry has no room even in a king size bed me and my four pillows (two for my head, one behind me and one in front) have taken over the bed not to mention Chloe at the foot of it!

Best moment last week? Our baby showers over the weekend! We were overwhelmed with generosity from everyone & we can not thank everyone enough for coming and all the wonderful gifts for Estella!  She's one lucky girl to be loved by so many people already:) It was really fun putting everything away and starting to wash some of her clothes. My favorite story from this past weekend was  our good friend Dan saying he had no idea what to get us and a lil birdie told him diapers...he said he thought that should be easy until he reached the diaper aisle and realized there are a zillion brands and sizes to choose from!  He facial expressions are what made the story, but anywho he found a couple that lead him in the right direction to NB pampers swaddlers, he did good! It makes me laugh just thinking of him standing in the diaper section totally confused!!! My dad also got some things in the nursery hung and our family antique rocker got done being reupholstered. Everything is almost Finished!!!!

Movement? Yep, She is really pushing around in there and I finally got my dad to feel her one tiny lil time she always stops for anyone else...I guess she's a mommas girl already;)

Food cravings? Fruit, but not much this week! I'm trying to slowly stop my Mini chocolate donut craving so I won't want them once I'm not pregnant anymore,( I allow myself 2 with my oatmeal every morning instead of my 3-4 ha) but it was so sweet our friend Justin brought me two bags to our shower and our friends Jillayne and Jared had them at our other couples shower they hosted! What awesome friends, it was so nice of them to think of me and my crazy cravings!!!

Gender? GIRL, Estella Marie

Labor signs? A few Braxton hicks but nothing much thankfully

Belly button in/out? Still hanging in there

What I miss:   Just being able to bend over comfortably

What I am looking forward to: My Dr. appointment tomorrow morning, I love getting to hear Estella's heartbeat and getting the thumbs up everything is still going good! Each passing week is going by very fast and I just hope it stays that way because I can not wait to meet our lil princess!!!

Milestones:Your baby's the size of a Cantaloupe!
At less than two months to go, she weighs in at about 4.2 pounds to 5.8 pounds and measures about 17.2 to 18.7 inches
She's recognizing and reacting to simple songs, if you're singing them. (If you're not, start! She may find them soothing after birth.)
She's also urinating about a pint a day.

Showered WIth Love!!!

The last two weekends have been so much fun filled with baby showers! Last Sunday was my first shower hosted by my sister and cousin, it was a very girly shower hot pink and zebra print theme! The decor was too cute and dessert bar was to die for! It was so fun to catch up with family friends and some of my close girl friends! I forgot to take pictures with anyone and I realized it just as everyone left, I was so bummed because that is so not like me! I usually take pictures of everything, but here are a few from my sister!
Estella got so many cute lil outfits
Stacy made scratch offs for a game
Cute dessert bar with my favorite treats, mini chocolate donuts, red velvet cup cakes and cake pops!
Ash made a tutu skirt for the table and monthly oneies
My mom and I made Favors for everyone! Root beer  was one of my first cravings so it said Emily's about to pop enjoy one of her favorite cravings and we made cute lil magnets for the tops!

The next weekend was crazy busy but so fun! We started out on Friday night with a couples shower Bry's aunt and sister hosted! We had such an awesome time,  My favorite part was watching the guys participate in the games! It was so funny watching there faces while tasting baby food and trying to chug 4oz of beer out of a baby bottle! They could not believe how had it was to get anything out of the bottle (being a baby sure is tough work;)

Cute diaper bassinet auntie Gail made

All the ladies who made it happen

 My parents GG and Grandpa
The boys trying to chug beer our of a baby bottle

Saturday I started out the day with a lunch that my moms girl friends hosted! Just a small group of 10 at a restaurant it was so nice and low key! It was great catching up with these ladies and hearing all about there grandbabies! Then Saturday night we were off to our college friends house to celebrate the soon to be Mr. and Mrs Bader and Estella! There is never a dull moment with this group of friends, we always have a great time! Everyone brought a book for Estella some were the classics every child needs and others well I think we can only read to her before she can talk ( If you give a kid a cookie will he shut the F*** up and Go the F*** to sleep) haha! We feel so blessed and lucky to have all these wonderful people in our lives, Estella is one spoiled lil girl already!!! Thank you to everyone who came and a big thanks to all the hosts who made the showers happen!!! We really appreciate all your hard work:) We sure felt SHOWERED WITH LOVE!!!

Favors for both Showers,
the ones for the girls were packets of flower seeds and a cute fabric flower magnet
my mom and I made with candies and the boys got cigars and matches! The tags said Plant these seeds and watch them bloom, just like baby estella who'll be arriving soon!
