A few things we have been up to!

 We started our registry!
One reason we went is for me to quit buying things, I figured if I'm registered for it I won't buy it. Also Bry and I have a very busy Feb and March and my first shower is in March, so we needed to get it done when we had the time! It was fun, but very overwhelming. It's so crazy everything a tiny little baby needs and once you decide what to get you have twenty choices of different brands! I sure hope Estella likes what we've picked out for her ???

When registering I found the perfect stroller for us! The Mamas & Papas Sola. This is the #1 selling brand in Great Britain, I knew it had to be good those Brit's always have excellent taste. It was on sale for $150 off, so I went straight home to research and read every review possible! After finding out this was truly meant to be my stroller, I called and had them put one on hold! These are the top things I was looking for in a stroller 1. Functional  2. Chic/stylish/cute 3. Forward/rear facing  4. Handle bar that adjusts higher( for Bry because he is so tall) 5. pushes/steers easily 6. Can hold a infant car seat/or lay flat 7. Light weight/ fold easy and 8. Something I can have for future kiddos!
Isn't it so cute??? Now Gg (grandma) Just needs to find fabric that comes in kelly green and pink to make a stroller blanket to match:)

Now on to the nursery-
It's coming along, one thing at a time! Gg has been very busy sewing away. She was only home for a week and got the valance, part of the dust ruffle done, the quilt cut out and we started redoing the antique dresser! Thanks Mom, we love it :)

Next up was the Chandelier. The first one I bought ended up being to small, I loved it and was afraid I wouldn't find one I equally loved... but I did! I'm so proud of Bry for putting it up all by himself, with the help of a lovely assistant:) The directions weren't great. It took a few times to get all the parts in place, but we did it and it looks FABULOUS! Thanks again Bry you made your oh so impatient wife's night!

Dreaming of pink and green!

We are starting the nursery!!! It's never too early or so I've been told:) First item I bought was the pink and green chandelier, EVERY girl needs one! Then came the crib, I got a great deal on a pottery barn one (something I've always wanted), then it was time to pick out the fabric and paint! I already new if I was having a girl the walls would be pink, but I had to decide what shade I wanted. My mom will be custom making the quilt, dust ruffle, and window valance. I'm so lucky to have such a creative and talented mom and thankfully I have a wonderful sister who offered to paint. We haven't got very far, only the color on the wall but I'm still deciding what to paint behind the crib. I've been a very busy girl looking on etsy and pinterest for stencils and ideas! I can't wait to see it all come together!
Auntie Stacy painting away:)

I just had to share!

I just had to share our Christmas card picture because I thought it was so fun and a creative way to share our big news! We had a early ultrasound at 16 weeks, I know I'm super impatient but I couldn't wait any longer! A good family friend did our ultrasound, she said that she had never been wrong... so I trusted her:) I came up with this idea because I really wanted to do a reveal party but with it being around the holidays it was too busy! So instead everyone had to wait until they got our card in the mail. It was really fun to get everyones responses once they got them!

Totally Scored Big At Target!

Yesterday was a great day! I started off with my 22 week Dr. appointment. Everything is still going great and it sure never gets old hearing the sweet sounds of your baby's heart beat! Afterwards I just had to stop by the Maple Grove Target on my way home since I pass right by it. I've been keeping a close eye on things at Target,  because every year after the New Year it all seems to go on clearance...and we all know I love a good deal! Well I scored big! I got a video monitor, Ameda breast pump,  accessories for the pump, 2 crib sheets, changing table pad cover, Born Free bottles, pacifiers all for 50% off and a pack n play for 30% off:) I could have kept filling my overflowing cart but I figured I have to leave something for my registry.  It's so fun to finally be buying these things for my baby and I! I couldn't wait to call everyone I knew and tell them about the awesome deals I just scored. Bry sent me a text (pretty sure he was teasing me) saying he's glad I'm so excited about my pump and I replied never thought a breast pump would make my day, but it sure did! To be able to get a hospital grade pump that was over $300 for only $153 was pretty dang exciting!  Boy times are changing, but I couldn't be Happier!

Happy Shopping!

I've Decided to start Blogging:)

For the past few years I've been following a few blogs and I love reading them! I've always thought I can't do this, I'm not a good writer but I've decided I don't care. This is for me to remember and share my pregnancy and one day show my little one! So heres a little bit about me, I've been married to my high school sweetheart Bryan for 3 1/2 years (we've been together for 10) and we couldn't be happier! We have a dog Chloe that is 5 and she is the most spoiled dog ever! Miss Chloe has no idea what she's in for because things are about to change, I'm 22 weeks pregnant with our first child... a baby GIRL and we are so excited! We feel truly blessed and can not wait to meet our Lil Miss Estella Marie in May! It was a bit of a difficult time getting pregnant in the first place so I just want to soak up every moment and enjoy this very special time in our lives! I'm so glad I've been inspired to do this and hopefully other people will be inspired to start blogging too;)
